Refund & Exchange Policy
Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law because we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under this policy and our obligations to you. (Chemist)
We guarantee a full money back refund or exchange subject to the following conditions provided you lodge refund claim within 7 days of your order being received. To apply for a refund or exchange, please call us or email us at: ____ with your Name, email address, Contact Number, Order Number and reason for return. From here, we will inform you of refund approval and return address. Please note that in order to receive a replacement product, exchange or refund, the product must be returned to us within 15 days, and the refund will be issued after inspection in our warehouse.
• Order Cancellation: We do not charge a fee for cancellation. However, if a cancellation is requested after your order has been dispatched, you will receive a refund minus the shipping charge. Please note we dispatch orders daily. Cancellation request can be sent via email provided we receive it and acknowledge receipt thereof.
• Incorrect Product: All orders are picked and checked prior to sending. In the very rare instance that PerfumeOZ.com.au has shipped an incorrect product, please leave the item unopened and contact us. We will replace the product. The product must be unopened and unused, and in it’s original sealed resalable condition. Any opened products, regardless if wrongly sent, are not eligible for refund or exchange.
• Change of Mind Returns: If you’ve had a change of mind about a product you’ve purchased, the product must be returned complete with all original packaging, unused and in it’s orginal sealed saleable condition. • Damaged during Shipping: Even though great care is taken in the shipping process, if the product arrives damaged, please contact our Customer Service Team to assess the damage and to work out a solution. Please don’t dispose of the product or packaging. The delivery box and damaged goods must be kept as these may be necessary for an insurance claim from Australia Post. You may be requested to provide photograph of the product and delivery package to to investigate the damage claim and aid a speedy resolution.
• Faulty or Defective Product: If you find a product to be defective after opening, you will be provided with a full refund or exchange upon inspection. Please don’t dispose of the product or packaging. Contact us with a detailed description of the product fault and a photo.
• Personal Taste: We strongly suggest that you try a fragrance or the beauty product prior to purchasing from us. We do not refund or exchange product for any issues associated with personal taste or fragrances that may smell different to something previously purchased or worn. It is important you undertake your own research on a fragrance to ensure it is exactly what you are looking for. Opened products are not eligible for refund or exchange.
• Misue or Neglect: We reserve the right not to offer an exchange or refund in case of misuse or neglect.
• Shipping Back: The product must be returned to us as they arrived to you, i.e., with adequate protection during transit. We recommend using a registered and traceable postal method when returning goods to us. This minimises the chances of a lost parcel and avoids disputes. You are responsible for any product damage during transit as a result of unsuitable packaging. Use any sturdy box (and not a satchel or postpak) with newspaper as fillers to minimise product movement during transport. Ideally, it would be best to use the same box and filling of the original shipment unless the box is damaged. Full refunds will not be issued for goods received back in damaged condition.
